1. Verify Your Catalog ID in Shopify
In your Shopify Admin, navigate to Sales Channels and select Facebook & Instagram.
Ensure your catalog ID is correctly linked and verified within this section to enable seamless integration with Meta platforms.
2. Catalog Specifications
Minimum SKUs: Your catalog should have at least 10 approved SKUs. This ensures a robust selection for retargeting ads.
Ad Format: Catalog ads are typically served in a carousel format, allowing customers to view and purchase multiple products directly from the ad.
3. Admin Permissions
Meta Commerce Manager: You need admin permissions to manage the catalog in your Meta Commerce Manager. For assigning admin roles, refer to the Meta Help Guide.
Catalog Ownership: The catalog must be claimed by the Meta Business Manager (BM) you are using to run ads. If the catalog is claimed by another BM account, follow the instructions in this guide to transfer ownership.
4. Catalog Maintenance
Up-to-Date Catalog: Ensure your catalog is up to date with accurate product information. Avoid having empty product sets to prevent issues with ad deployment.
5. Compatibility with Preflect Enriched Catalog Ads
External Feeds: External supplementary feeds like Flexify, Socioh, and others are not compatible with Preflect enriched catalog ads. Remove these feeds to run enriched catalog ads successfully.
By following these guidelines, you can ensure your catalog is optimized for Preflect catalog ads, enhancing your retargeting efforts and overall ad performance.
