Classic Pages on Facebook is updating to the New Pages Experience. In order to share your Facebook Page and account with Preflect, you yourself must have Facebook-level or task-level access. If you have full control over a Facebook page, you can dictate other users' access levels, granting, modifying, or removing their permissions as needed.

How to check you have the right access:

  1. Go to the FB Page you are trying to connect.

  2. On the left-hand side, click on Settings.

If this is greyed out and you cannot click it, check to see if there is an option to switch accounts in order to fully access it.

  3. On the left-hand side menu, click on New Pages Experience.

  4. Then click on Page Access again on the left-hand side.

  5. Check to see if your name / FB profile is under the Facebook Access or the Task Access section.

If you do not have proper access, add yourself using these steps:

  1. Start on the same page that you ended in the previous instructions: Page Access

  2. click Add New next to 'People with Facebook Access" or 'People with Task Access'.

  3. Click Next

  4. Input the name or email address of the individual you want to grant access to and select their name.

  5. For this next step:

    1. If under FB Access, toggle the button for full control at the bottom (not essential)

    2. If under Task Access, choose the features you'd like this individual to manage

  6. Click Give Access.

  7. Enter your Facebook password and click Confirm.

An email invitation will be sent to the individual, who must then accept to gain access to your Page. Users with Task Access can manage the Page through Facebook Business Suite, Creator Studio, Ads Manager, or Business Manager. However, they cannot switch into the Page or manage it directly on Facebook. Users with Facebook Access are able to switch directly into the page from their FB account.
