Adding an Instagram Account to Meta Business Manager

Before starting, it is important to remember the following requirements:

  • You must have a professional/business Instagram account that you can access with a username and password.

  • This Instagram account should not be owned by any other business, as each account can only be claimed by one Business Manager.

  • Only the admins have the authority to add Instagram accounts to the Business Manager.

  • If your Instagram account is linked to a Facebook Page, ensure both are added to the same Business Manager.

Here are the step-by-step instructions to add an Instagram account to your Business Manager:

  1. Click Here to Go to Business Settings.

  2. Click Accounts.

  3. Click Instagram Accounts.

  4. Click the blue Add button.

  5. Click Connect Your Instagram Account

  6. Enter your Instagram username and password.
    ​Note: Facebook may send you a security code to the email or phone number associated with the account to verify your identity.

  7. On the next screen, select the Page you'd like to assign to this Instagram.

  8. Click Finish
